Follow the main road to the left of the war memorial and on towards Leven High Street.
Leven High Street has been the focal point of the town's commercial and social life for many decades. It evolved as the town grew from a small fishing village into a more substantial settlement with industries like coal mining and textiles. The street features a mix of architectural styles, reflecting various periods of development. This includes traditional stone buildings, Victorian and Edwardian-era structures, and more modern constructions. Leven High Street is home to a variety of shops and businesses, including independent retailers, national chains, cafes, restaurants, and service providers. Various public services and amenities are located along or near the High Street, including banks, post offices, libraries, and health services, making it a convenient area for residents.
