Enjoy a 5 minute walk through the woodland nature canopy with the burn on your right. Continue along the path until you reach the 4th stone bridge opposite the wishing well. Keep an eye out for the exposed tree root system along this canopy, they look like 8 legged friends! The sawn trees you see along this canopy were cut down due to storm damage. The two large silver birches on the right are examples of one of our most abundant trees. Birches and Pines were among the earliest trees to colonise Scotland after the ice age.
