About this trail

Burntisland is a place with a fascinating history and many stories to tell. From the first signs of human activity going back thousands of years, through its development as a busy port to the thriving town we see today there is lots to discover and enjoy. This trail is based on walks created by Burntisland Heritage. You will find lots more information on the town and its history on their website.

What you can expect to see, learn and do

This trail will take you to many of the most important buildings and places in Burntisland which tell the story of the town over hundreds of years. Look out for the interpretation panels and commemorative plaques round the town for more information on its history.

The trail begins at Burntisland Burgh Chambers on the High Street ///clubs.rejoins.jogged
