About Point 12

Provost Michael Beveridge (1836-1890) left a bequest to build a public hall in memory of Adam Smith. Opened in 1899 by Andrew Carnegie, the theatre is a popular venue, well-loved for its high-quality shows. The theatre also hosts the Design Suite which is a coworking space designed to engage, inspire and support people of all ages to explore digital and creative design tools, plus event spaces and a café.
